Manor Lords – How To Upgrade Your Town And Burgage Plots

Your goal in Manor Lords is to turn a tiny settlement into a bustling locale. Still, this process can take a while, since you have to be mindful of what families/households require. Here’s our guide on how to upgrade your Burgage Plots and town in Manor Lords.

How to upgrade your Burgage Plots and town in Manor Lords

To upgrade your town or settlement level in Manor Lords, you must look at the number of required Burgage Plots that belong to a particular tier. This can be seen when you mouse over your settlement’s name at the top of the screen:

Settlement level upgrade requirements

These are the requirements to increase the overall level of your settlement:

  • Settler’s Camp: By default, each run starts with a single tent. This is also what you start with in any unclaimed region that you capture. You can learn more about this mechanic in our influence/region claims guide.
  • Small Village: 5x Burgage Plots at level 1.
  • Medium Village: 5x Burgage Plots at level 1; 2x Burgage Plots at level 2.
  • Large Village: 10x Burgage Plots at level 1; 5x Burgage Plots at level 2.
  • Small Town: 10x Burgage Plots at level 1; 7x Burgage Plots at level 2; 3x Burgage Plots at level 3.
  • Medium Town: 10x Burgage Plots at level 1; 10x Burgage Plots at level 2; 10x Burgage Plots at level 3.
  • Large Town: 30x Burgage Plots at level 1; 20x Burgage Plots at level 2; 15x Burgage Plots at level 3.

In short, you upgrade your Manor Lords settlement level by turning low-tier Burgage Plots (i.e. houses) into higher-tier variants. However, you should also consider the prerequisites before upgrading housing. Come from Sports betting site VPbet

Burgage Plot upgrade requirements

Burgage Plot level 1 to level 2:

  • Building upgrade construction materials: 4x timber.
  • Access to a Well.
  • Church – 5x timber, 20x planks, and 10x stone.
  • Fuel Stall Supply – Just have a Woodcutter’s Lodge. It should automatically erect a stall in the Marketplace.
  • Food Stall Supply – You need at least two types for food being sold on the Marketplace. You can learn more in our food sources guide.
  • Clothing Stall Supply – Certain goods must be available at the Marketplace. You can learn more in our how to make clothing guide.

Burgage Plot level 2 to level 3

  • Building upgrade construction materials: 4x timber, 8x planks, 4x rooftiles, and 25x Regional Wealth
  • Access to a Well
  • Stone Church – Upgrade the level 1 Church, which requires 5x timber, 10x planks, 10x rooftiles, and 20x stone.
  • Fuel Stall Supply.
  • Food Stall Supply – This time, you should have at least three different kinds of food being sold on the Marketplace.
  • Clothing Stall Supply – The Marketplace stalls should also include shoes, clothes, and cloaks.

Note that construction materials are needed for each building that you’re trying to upgrade. The rest, however, only require that Burgage Plot to have access to that resource/commodity via road connections. For instance, if your village has a Stone Church and multiple roads connect it to various Burgage Plots, then this will fulfill the requirement.
